Al-Quran is revealed by ALLAH on our Last Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the Holy Month of Ramadan at Laylat al-Qadar night.

It showed the difference between right and wrong, empowered nikkah over Zina (adultery), highlighted the importance of women as a daughter, as a wife, as a mother, as a sister, or as individual human beings, and declared the command of Allah to his people clearly.

Unfortunately, nowadays, most Muslims read the Holy Quran only during the death ceremony and during Ramadan.

Muslims don’t you know the worth of Quran in their lifes? It is stated in the Holy Quran:

لَوْ أَنزَلْنَا هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ عَلَىٰ جَبَلٍۢ لَّرَأَيْتَهُۥ خَـٰشِعًۭا مُّتَصَدِّعًۭا مِّنْ خَشْيَةِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَتِلْكَ ٱلْأَمْثَـٰلُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

Had We sent down this Quran upon a mountain, you would have certainly seen it humbled and torn apart in awe of Allah. We set forth such comparisons for people, ˹so˺ perhaps they may reflect. ( 59:21)

Benefit Of Memorizing the Quran

The Quran is much more than a religious book. It should be fully respected and the most important form of respect is reading and memorizing the Holy Quran in the best way. There are unlimited benefits of reciting the Quran and memorizing the Quran like you can be in jannah, gets great honour, connects with ALLAH and many more. Some of which describes below.

Quran Memorization Increases your Rank of Jannah

Jannah has 7 ranks. The highest rank of Jannah, called Jannat-ul-Firdous, is specially designed by Allah with much love for His best people. It is the living place of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and its companion.

If you memorize and practice the Holy Quran in your life, the Quran will come as your intercessor and will help you reach Jannat-ul-firdous.

Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr:

That the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “It shall be said – meaning to the one who memorized the Quran – ‘Recite, and rise up, recite (melodiously) as you would recite in the world. For indeed your rank shall be at the last Ayah you recited.” (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2914)

Quran Gives You Great Honor

The Quran gives you the three best things anyone can dream of. The one who memorizes the Quran and practices its values in life will be honored with a crown and suit of nobility, Allah will be pleased with him and his rank of paradise will increase with every verse recitation.

Narrated Abu Hurairah:

“That the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “The one who memorized the Qur’an shall come on the Day of Judgment and (the reward for reciting the Qur’an) says: ‘O Lord! Decorate him.” So he is donned with a crown of nobility. Then it says: ‘O Lord! Give him more!’ So he is donned with a suit of nobility. Then it says: “O Lord! Be pleased with him.’ So He is pleased with him and says: “Recite and rise, and be increased in reward with every Ayah.”Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2915

Quran Recitation Gains You an Easy Reward

Allah is so merciful that he has given us an easy way to earn multiple rewards with a single deed- Quran recitation. He knows ‌ His people might miss doing good deeds to earn the greatest reward in the world’s race.

For this, he gave us the Quran. The guide, the easy way toward Allah and paradise. Recite the Holy Quran to earn infinite rewards.

Narrated Muhammad bin Ka’b Al-Qurazi:

“I heard ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud said:

‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “[Whoever recites a letter] from Allah’s Book, then he receives the reward from it, and the reward of ten the likes of it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.” (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2910)

Quran Connects You with ALLAH

“Certainly, did Allah confer [great] favor upon the believers when He sent among them a Messenger from themselves, reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book [i.e., the Qur’ān] and wisdom, although they had been before in manifest error”
