Abu Umaamah al-Baahili says,
“I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: “Read the Quran, for it will come on the Day of Resurrection interceding for its companions.” Muslim (804)
12. Quran is the Only Source of Salvation in the Grave
To get oneself secured and protected in the grave, we are told to recite Surah Al-Mulk. In a hadith, it was mentioned that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) recommended reading Surah Mulk every night before going to bed. By doing so, it is said that you would be protected from the severity of the grave.
