Who Are Prophets In Islam?
Prophets are the chosen peoples of Allah that He has sent to deliver His message and to provide His guidance and instructions in a proper way. They were 124000 total in number and 25 prophets are mentioned in Holy Quran. Among them, four were special, through them Allah has sent His special messages in the form of holy books. Zabur was given to Dawood (A.S) and Tauraat was given to Musa (A.S), Injeel to Essa (A.S), and Quran to Muhammad (PBUH). The first prophet of Islam was Adam (A.S), who was also the first human being in this world. The last prophet was Muhammad (PBUH).
