There are five verses in Al-Qadr (meaning “Power, Fate”), which is the 97th chapter (surah) of the Qur’an. In the first verse, the word Al-Qadr is used, it is derived from the name of the most memorable night, Lailatul Qadr. It is primarily about power and it is a Makki surah in Quran. According to Surah Al-Qadr, there are two implied meanings. This night is the night when destiny is decided and this book implies a change in the world.

For Sharper Eyesight
When reciting this chapter after Wudhu, look upward toward the sky. The eyes will become sharper and sounder. According to Molana Ashraf Ali Thanvi writes:
After Wudhu and the recitation of Surah Al-Qadr, anyone who makes it a habit will have strong eyesight and good vision, In’Sha Allah. (Remedies from the Quran p92)
Protection from Evil Plans
This chapter of quran will protect a person from his evil plans if he recites it before his enemies. According to Sayyid Mustafa Musawi writes:
When Surat Al-Qadr is recited 11 times before sleeping, the reciter remains safe all night long. When one recites before an enemy, one is protected from evil plans. Reciting Surat Al-Qadr repeatedly is the best way to repay a loan. A believer’s sins will be forgiven if recited seven times on his grave. (Fawaid-e-Qur’an)
Forgiveness of Sins
If a person recites Surah Qadr, then all the sins of the deceased will be pardoned. It is narrated that Imam Ja’far Sadiq said,
When a Muslim recites Surah Al-Qadr in his obligatory prayers, Allah makes an announcer proclaim: “O servant of Allah, all your past sins have been forgiven. Now you should pay attention to your actions.” (Sawabul Aamal 169)
Special Reward like Ramadan Nights
A person who recites surah Al-Qadr will be rewarded as those who observe vigil in the honored nights of Ramadan.” As it is narrated that the Prophet said,
“Those who recite Surah Al-Qadr continuously will be rewarded as those who observe vigil in the honoured nights of Ramadan.” (Majma’-al-Bayan, 10/516)
Forgiveness of Thousand sins
Surah Al-Qadr helps in the forgiveness of thousand sins. It is narrated that Imam Muhammad Baqir said,
“A person who recites Surah Al-Qadr loudly is like someone who fights for Allah, and someone who recites it in a low voice is like someone who sacrifices himself for Allah. Allah will forgive a thousand sins committed by the person who recites the verse ten times.” (Sawabul Aamal 168-169)
For Inner Cleanliness
Recite Surah Al-Qadr frequently is a cause for the cleanliness of the inner self. According to Allama Alam Faqri writes
In Ramadhan, reciting Surah Al-Qadr frequently is a cause for the cleanliness of the inner self (Batin) and limitless rewards. (Majmooa Wazaif p179)
Recite surah Al Qadr for property protection. According to Allama Alam Faqri writes
It is also recommended to recite Surah Al-Qadr once before going to sleep to protect your house and property. (Majmooa Wazaif p179)
Those who recite Surah Al-Qadr 21 times in Wudhu will surely gain Qurb-e-Elahi.
This Surah is a great remedy for the recovery of disease as it is mentioned a person who writes Surah Qadr on a pot (chini ka betun) and drinks water from it will soon recover from the disease.
Increase Honor and Status
Recite surah Al Qadr before sleep will increase honor and status. According to Allama Alam Faqri writes
After Asr, if Surah Al-Qadr is recited 141 times daily in Ramadhan, his inner self will be cleansed. Those who make it a habit of reciting Surah Al-Qadr 100 times before sleep will significantly increase their honor and status, be distanced from satanic whispers (Waswaas), and achieve spiritual peace. (Aamal-e-Qurani p431-432)

For Increasing Rizq
Recite surah Al Qadr for business profit According to the following wazifa:
Surah Al-Qadr can increase a person’s profits if he reads it frequently in his shop or establishment. (Aamal-e-Qurani p431-432)
Grave-like Garden of Jannah
Recite this surah will bring comfort in the grave. According to the following wazaifa:
On Fridays, reciting Surah Al-Qadr 141 times will bring comfort and light to the grave, like a garden of Jannah. (Aamal-e-Qurani p431-432)
Healing of Diseases and Disorders
Reciting Surah al Qadr and Surah inshirah 11 times after Jumma Prayer will heal a person from any disease, from heart disease to diabetes and mental disorders, in a flash.
Imam Daylami narrated from Hazrat Anas that
The Prophet said, “Allah has bestowed the Night of Al-Qadr on my Ummah and it was not given to anyone before them.” (Al-Firdaws Bima Thur Al-Khatab 1/173, Dur al-Manthur)
Hazrat Muhammad bin Nasr narrated from Hazrat Anas that
The Prophet said, “Whoever read Inna Anzalnahu Fee Laylat Al-Qadr (Surah 97), it is equal to one-fourth of the Quran. Whoever read Itha Zulzilati Al-Ardu Zilzalaha (Surah 99), it equals half of the Quran. Qul Ya Ayyuha Al-Kafiroon (Surah 109) equals one-fourth of the Quran and Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad (Surah 112) is equal to one-third of the Quran.” (Dur Al-Manthur).
